How are Tile Medallions made?

Our Tile Medallions are made with a waterjet process. Once the design is created, we use a high pressure stream of water and abrasive to cut the marble sections that fit into the pattern. Our waterjet process results in precision cuts that do not, in any way, impact the integrity of the stone. Each section of the medallion will fit perfectly into the pattern as a whole, and there will be no wear on the edges. We stand by our waterjet-cut Tile Medallions. Other, less precise cutting methods can cause chipping or result in a medallion that has unsightly gaps between sections.
